New Spectacles

I've finally gotten new glasses! Horray!

J and I decided several months ago that we needed new specks. I have been looking for ones for ages. I finally found some that I love. I'm not sure how they look, but I like them! :-)

What is today?

What is today? Monday. Or is it Tuesday? Wait, yesterday was Sunday, right? Ok, today is definately Monday.

Damn. This has been how the last few WEEKS have been for me. I can't figure out what day it is. Don't even get me started on the date. I'm doing good to know that we are in June.

20 Days

I haven't posted in twenty days. Partially because I'm lazy and partially because I've had some serious writers block. So what's gone on with us?

Jack...
- is 3.5 months old now.
- rolled over for the first time today.
- weighs 12.7 lbs (according to WiiFit).
- loves to laugh and has even started laughing in his sleep. :-)

Roo...
- has done completed a 4 week session of Kindermusik called ABC Music and Me.
- is taking a class at The Little Gym.
- is enjoying being at home.
- has an imaginary friend that is actually her big sister. She is looking forward to celebrating her birthday with her.
- is scared of just about anything random that you can think of (blow up monkeys, the trainers on WiiFit, the EXIT sign at gym) :-)

J...
- is busy with work.
- enjoying our new toy...WII!!!!
- works in the yard every weekend...despite it being 90 degrees. (You think he's hiding from us?)
- is so understanding and willing to take over the kids these days. So nice.

I...
- am exhausted.
- am cranky.
- need a vacation. :-)

ok, hopefully this will be the start of be getting back to blogging. I've seriously had a ton going on...just haven't written it down. More later

In the name of the Father

Today we celebrated the baptism of Roo and Jack-Jack. It was a total two-fer. Yes, we waited until Roo was 3. Yikes! Slackers, yes!

We had a lovely private ceremony with a reception afterwards. We were joined by our family. It was small, simple and really lovely. Roo had a great time and let's be honest...that's what really counts. :-)

So finally it was done. No more Catholic guilt for me (or atleast not about this).

Pictures to come...

Sex and The City

J and I went on a date to a mexican restaurant and to a MOVIE! Shazam! We went to see Sex and The City. It was FABULOUS! We laughed, we cried, we had an all around good time. The commercials are so choppy that it's hard to get a good "read" on what the movie will actually be like...but it was good! Funny how watching a series like that can be so fun and seeing the movie is like visiting old friends. :-)

As a side note: Christa, I saw your mom at Target. Did she tell you? ;-) Sorry about your parents' house.
