School Days

It's that time of year...errr ok, not quite.

J and I decided that we should start thinking about where we'd like Roo to go to preschool. Sound simple enough, right? Well, there's half day, full day, private, church-based, daycare settings, school settings, etc. The list goes on and on.

Because of some great references (namely Weston) we decided to check out our new church, St. Philip Neri's program. Last week we toured the school and everything looked great. She'd be in a class with 14 students, 2 teachers and countless activities including, spanish lessons and computer class! It will be 9 am to 12 pm. 2 days (T,TH) or 3 days (M,W,F) a week.

So Monday was D-Day. I had to take Roo to her current school and then head over to the church for registration which started at 8:30 am. I pulled into the parking lot at 7:55 am and there was already a woman in line. Ugh. I quickly got into line behind her and hung out in 32 degrees of loveliness. About 5 minutes later a couple with twin sons pulled up. Ok, Riley was number 2 of 4. Good huh?

The lady from the office took our papers and numbered them and said we were free to go and they would call us. So, until then we wait...
