Want a baby?

Roo: (patting my stomach) Mommy, please tell me...is this a girl baby or a boy baby in here?

Me: (pushing her hand away) Roo, I do not have a baby in my belly. Don't touch my stomach or ask me again.

R: But I WANT a baby.

M: Ok, I don't, so leave me alone about it.

R: But, when are you going to have a baby? Because I need one.

M: I don't know. I'm not. You can have your own baby.

R: No, I need a sister.

UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shane and Owen just push on my stomach and say "squishy squishy" and then laugh hysterically. Jerks. ;)

Sydney asks me almost daily for "Two babies, just like Katie." My aunt had twins about a month before I had Jaxon and Syd is adamant that we need some, too. Um, no.

I told Jordan to ask again in 5 years and it seemed to work. When 5 years had passed, she was way over wanting a baby around.

I used to have students that would ask me if I was pregnant. We had a few years where many teachers had babies. It created a fever with the kids...every female was at risk for the question, "When are you going to have your baby?". Of course, try as I might, I couldn't get pregnant....so my answer was always, "That's no baby, it's my lunch!". Stinkers!

I once asked my mom why she never had anymore kids. ((I wish I had a brother.)) She told me I never asked for one. um...last time I checked that wasn't something I decided. hahaha. I was content playing w/ my babydolls and barbies. ~KK*
